Increase of Trade Dock storage-capacity

Really simple mod, title says it all, really.

It does increase the storage-capacity of all player-owned trade docks. Whether it works with already existing player-owned TDs is not confirmed, but it surely works with newly built ones.

With the modification, a TD will be able to store up to 100 PACs, 186 1MJ-shields, 20 firestorm torpedoes, 15.000 ECells, 10.000 Cahoonas, etc.

This sort of increase with every ware you put into the dock.

The only file changed is the Globals.txt. The only value changed is the one in the fourth line counting from the end (now a 3 instead of a 0). Putting a 2 into there would mean that TDs will have a storage-capacity of a M-sized station, putting 5 in there will make it have a storage-capacity of a L-sized station.

By the way: The increase in storage capacity will also happen with player-owned Equipment Docks. ;)

It's a very very simple mod I threw together in some seconds after we discussed about the uselessness of TDs in the Egosoft DevChat.

Credit goes to Sereniti for bringing up the topic, UniTrader and laux for testing and confirming that it works, I helped developing the idea and packed the mod as well as put it online.

Handelsstation-Lagerkapazitäterhöhung

 

Vor ein paar Minuten sind wir im DevChat auf die Nutzlosigkeit von Handelsstationen zu sprechen gekommen. Naja, dann kam der Einfall, dass da mit TC doch so ein netter Parameter hinzugekommen ist - das Resultat ist dieser Miniaturmod.

 

Was macht er?

Er erhöht die Lagerkapazität aller Spielereigenen Handelsstationen und Ausrüstungsdocks. Ob es mit bereits existierenden funktionert, weiss ich nicht, aber mit neu aufgestellten (nach der Installation des Mods) funktioniert es bestimmt.

 

Der Effekt ist, dass die Lagerkapazität für jede eingelagerte Ressource um einiges erhöht wird: Lager bei Multiplikator 3: 100 PBKs, 186 5 MJ-Schild, 20 Feuersturm-Torpedos, 15K EZ, 10K Cahoonas....

Dieser Multiplikator 3 wurde gesetzt (an Stelle von 0). Ein Multiplikator von 2 würde der Lagerkapazität einer Fabrik der Grösse "M" entsprechen, ein Multiplikator von 5 der Kapazität einer Station der Grösse L.

Damit eignen sich Handelsstationen nun prächtig als Zwischenlager für Waren. Das ganze betrifft übrigens die Ausrüstungsdocks ebenso.

 

Geändert wurde nur eine einzige Zahl in der Globals.txt (viertunterste Zeile)

Wer sich also noch mehr Lagerkapazität einbauen will - dort einfach an die Stelle einer 3 eine höhere Zahl einsetzen. ;)

Der Mod war eine Sekunden-Aktion - das Packen hat länger gedauert als das Erstellen. Dank geht an UniTrader und laux fürs Testen und Bestätigen und an Sereneti dafür, dass er uns auf das Thema gebracht hat. Ich habe nur den Mod gemacht, gepackt, hochgeladen und ein wenig bei der "Ausarbeitung" der Idee beigetragen. ^^

Uses shield energy to power a boost engine increasing a ship's speed.

 

Boost Erweiterung MK2

Als die Boost Erweiterung vor mehr als 10 Jahren eingeführt wurde, war es mit ihr möglich die Schildenergie anzuzapfen und mit ihr die Triebwerke zu übertunen. Es dauerte nicht lange, bis sich mehrere tödliche Unfälle ereigneten, die auf fliegen mit überhöhter Geschwindigkeit und ohne Schildenergie zurückzuführen sind. Daraufhin wurde diese Funktion durch ein Softwareupdate gesperrt und es konnte nur noch bis zur regulären Geschwindigkeit beschleunigt werden.

Allerdings ist es Piraten kürzlich gelungen, diese Funktion durch einen Crack wieder zurückzubringen...

 

Verwendung:

-Die Boost Erweiterung muss installiert sein, die Boost Erweiterung MK2 funktioniert nur auf kleinen Schiffen (M3-M5, TP, TS)

-Das Script wird über ein Hotkey aktiviert ("Boost Erweiterung MK2 Aktivieren")

-Wenn der Hotkey gedrückt wird, Beschleunigt das Schiff über seine Geschwindigkeit hinaus, dazu wird Schildenergie zu den Triebwerken abgezweigt

-Wird der Hotkey erneut gedrückt, wird die Beschleunigung abgebrochen und es wird versucht die aktuelle Schildenergie zu halten

-Wenn die Schildenergie leer ist oder sie gehalten wird, reicht die Energie des Schildenergiegenerators nicht aus, um die Geschwindigkeit zu halten und die Geschwindigkeit reduziert sich langsam wieder

-Wird der Hotkey wieder gedrückt oder die Geschwindigkeit ist wieder die Ursprungsgeschwindigkeit wird die Boost Erweiterung MK2 deaktiviert und es erfolgt ein Systemcheck, der ca. 20 Sekunden dauert. Während des Systemchecks kann die Boost Erweiterung MK2 nicht aktiviert werden.

Just a little script to add all blueprints to the Player Headquarters. 

 

Installation & Usage:

  1. Extract the zip file into your X3: Reunion installation directory. Afterwards the file setup.X2I.addblueprints.xml should be located in your "scripts" folder.
  2. Start the game and activate the Script Editor.
  3. Save and reload your game.

Your PHQ should have blueprints of all ships now. Please note: This also includes ship types like ***UNDEFINED*** or Unknown Objects which are actually not meant for player hands.

 

Uninstallation:

Simply delete the file setup.X2I.addblueprints.xml from your X3 Reunion scripts folder.

Alle Schiffsblaupausen zum HQ hinzufügen

Ein kleines Script, um alle Schiffsblaupausen dem Spielerhauptquartier hinzuzufügen.

 

Installation und Nutzung:

  1. Die zip-Datei ins X3: Reunion Installationsverzeichnis entpacken. Danach müsste sich die Datei setup.X2I.addblueprints.xml im "scripts"-Ordner befinden.
  2. Das Spiel starten und den Script Editor aktivieren.
  3. Das Spiel speichern und wieder laden.

Dein Hauptquartier sollte nun Blaupausen aller Schiffe enthalten. Beachte bitte, dass dies auch Schiffe, wie ***UNDEFINED*** oder Unbekanntes Objekt mit einschließt. Diese sind eigentlich nicht für den Spieler gedacht.

 

Deinstallation:

Einfach die Datei setup.X2I.addblueprints.xml aus dem X3 Reunion scripts-Ordner löschen.

Plugin Description 

The goal of this plugin is to make the pirates a bit more intelligent and organized than in the vanilla games. Each Pirate Base will now behave on its own, buying new ships, raiding TS, capturing ships, invading sectors, buying improved Lasertowers, and much more. This plugin also include a communication system (called ECS) with pirate pilots allowing the player to speak with them using an hotkey, as in the Yaki Armada plugin

When the plugin starts, each pirate base will receive a random amount of money and some ships. Then, periodically (20-30 minutes), each pirate base will send an order. This order can be to buy wares, raid a TS to steal its cargo, capture a ship, weaken defenses in a sector, invade an enemy sector, to generate money, to buy lasertowers, to send a patrol, ... 

Pirate ships handled by the Pirate guild will be "blue" to the player, except those from a base which is red to you. Those ships will also be able to use their jumpdrive, and to stay under cover until they reach their target.

 

Hostile / Neutral / Friendly Pirates 

When you start the plugin, it will send you an incoming question. It will allow you to set your initial relationship with pirate ships. Notice that the reputation evolve slowly. Pirates won't all suddently turn red when your relation will pass below a given point, it will take time. 

  • You can set it to "Enemy". Your reputation will be set to -50.000 points. All pirate ships except those handled by the Pirate Guild itself will be red. You can try to increase your standing by helping pirates through ECS. Or you can start to hunt ships of the Guild. The police will give you additional money for their destruction (by any of your ships). 
  • You can set it to "Neutral". Your reputation will be set 0 points. All pirates will be neutral to you. Attacking too much pirates will easily make them angry, though. 
  • And if you want to be a pirate and do not worry about some pirate capture from time to time, set the option to "Friendly". You'll get 50.000 reputation points and all the pirates will know you as one of them.

Compatibility: 

This plugin isn't compatible with the Friendly Pirate script (from TycHouse) as PG is already handling pirate/player relationship (making this script obsolete). If installed, it must be removed before installing Pirate Guild. Except for this detail, Pirate Guild should be compatible with all mods and known scripts i can think about. It doesn't need the game to be restarted from scratch and should be compatible with your savegame.

 

IMPORTANT: 

  • This plugin is DISABLED by default, you'll have to enable it in the AL settings (ESC / Gameplay / Artificial Life) to make it running. Once the plugin activated, you will be asked to choose your initial relationship with standard pirate ships. Those used by PG will stay 'neutral'. 
  • This plugin includes a library called ECS: Extended Communication System to handle communications between the player and the pirate ships & stations. You must assign a key to the "ECS: comm. a ship/station" command in your shortcut setting menu to be able to talk with them.

Once the key is assigned, just press it when you've selected a Pirate ship that is less than 8km away.
